Default is this oil any good

hi all going to service my 2005 wrx weekend just want to know is this oil any good royal purple 5W30?

or any one rec me one cheers

yep that oil is fine thats the grade what subaru recommend, a good 10w40 is a better grade imo, somthing like mobile 1 super s, its on offer at halfords at the mo for £19.99 for 5 liters

i drive my car hard, ive been reading on net bout that oil and some say you lose oil ?

so this will be fine then to use?

Your better off with a 5w40 fully synthetic or a 10w40 semi synthetic really, a 5w30 is the recommended oil but personally I wouldnt use it.

rang my local dealer and they recommend shell 10w40 semi synthetic so i ordered that

i think that u only get that in a 4 liter bottle, u need 4.5liters

5w-40w for me (fully synthetic) Opie oils do some great stuff at a good price.
