When is the turbo meant to come in ?
Is it meant to come in gradualy or quite quickly.
Ive had my STI 4 for 2 weeks now, i feel it doesn't perform as well as it used to.
Does anyone else feel like this ?, i could just be me getting used to the car

Buy a boost gauge then you'll know exactly when the turbo is in!

Should be between 2500 and 3000rpm ish I think... rough guess..
it is 3000rpm on my MY96 UK...
It is a definitate... no turbo, turbooooooooooooo kick...
but the STi might be different

I have an STi4 & the turbo kicks in around 3200rpm & delivers full boost at 3500-4000.
I just had a downpipe fitted & its now coming on strong from 3000
I also noticed after the downpipe that the power delivery is more linear - anybody else notice this with an STi fitted with a downpipe ??
Hope this helps.
