If its just the back box you'll be fine.

Ok just been told the whole lot needs to be replaced. Up to the downpipe.

Will I need a remap? or does anyone know where I can get an Apexi exhaust system?

I've just had my Apexi exhaust replaced. Unfortunatley its a whols section. So I replaced it with a Afterburner Vortex with a afterburner centre section. I already have a ninja sports cat. But have not had the ecu remapped.

I think for optimum perfomance it's recommended and for safety to. But just can't afford a remap. I've had it on a couple of weeks now and not noticed any difference really. Well noisewise yes.

Would like to know the situation to. If its a must for a remap then I'll have to sought it.

If it's from the cat forward you'll be OK. Eventually a re-map will only free up a small amount.
