anyone no what a screamer pipe is

Its a wastegate exhaust that vents to the atmosphere, rather than through the exhaust pipe. Seldom of any worth and easily found with a quick google.

 

Yup, its something you don't want as on accelleration its really friggin annoying

 

Ye but it is great tho steve,iv had people fall to there knee's after a quick burst of acceleration

 

Fall to there knees with deafness I presume?

 

Its also a real nightmare to map, and if you dont map with one.... hate to see the outcome (plus its chavvy as hell )

had my car 8 month its a jap import lent it to my son 4 the weekend so take it he must of give it sum **** 4 a stranger to say it had 1,well i think it sounds nice.took it through liverpool tunnel lastnite

 

A screamer pipe is normally fited to a rotated system, does your car have a rotated garret turbo. Just cause someone drives your car who is not used to a fast car doesn't mean it has a screamer pipe. If you have a screamer pipe fitted it goes mental at anything over 4000rpm and it isn't pretty
