Remember what Lotus did to a Lada Riva!!

I had one and it NEVER broke down, could park it anywhere and no-one would touch it. Towed many of my mates cars home, and even used to rally it through lanes and the forestry!!

 

haven't seen a lada in years, I only remember 2 things about my granda, his Red Lada and Pink wafer biscuits.

 

Only because they were reborn as VW with a different badge on the front!
To be fair, Rivas were awesome. When I lived in the Falkland Islands, people used to own one of two vehicles - a Land Rover or a Riva. They were bombproof off-road!

 

I remember my parents had one of those - bright yellow it was too.

Jamz - my Mum used to drive me to school all those years ago from just outside Ballycarry to Carrick and it never broke down - at least not that I remember.
