I am relatively new to Scooby owning. I have noticed that a lot of other scooby drivers wave at me!! Is this a national thing or just down here? I find it very odd, kind of like bus drivers! I know it's nice to be friendly but other car drivers don't do it!!

I always do matey
Its showing respect of a very good choise of car
only a couple of people dont wave back i.e. 106 year olds and standard hatchback owners
(not to Sports though...usually driven by old ladies/duffers and it just confuses them)
This attitude is the very reason I'm not a member of the SIDC anymore - defo a very "us and them" attitude.
Back on topic - I wave everytime as long as I see them - most of the time I get one back but it's seems some of the "newer" cars don't seem to want to know - I see a few around South Wales and they get a wave even if I know I won't get one back.

All the Sports round here are driven by coffin dodgers.... no "them and us" in my statement..it was a statement of FACT...stop twisting my posts and read them.

I'm sorry you're feeling unloved DA....
I'd not ignore a sport if it waved to me ..
but as I said... if I spot a non turbo's scooby, it 99% of the time has a wrinkly face and bi-focals staring back... and I know that waving at them would play on their minds for...well..let me see... as long as the Alzheimers kicks back in... 5 minutes?

Right thanks for the answers!!! Will have to start doing it myself and see if I get a wave back. If it's part of scooby driving ettiquette then I will have to join in!
