Didn't spot if anyone else has posted this, but http://www.atseuromaster.co.uk/UK/index.htm are showing PZero 205/50 16s for £65.

Not my cup of tea, but a good price...

Are PZero's not much cop then? I have P6000's on at the mo and they seem fine to me. Good wear (mostly on the motorway) and reasonably priced!

Pirelli's have a reputation for being poor in the wet. P6000 are scary in the wet IMO. I have never tried PZero but the general feeling is that F1's and SO2's are far better. Still SO2's are hard to find these days and £65 sounds OK (if that includes VAT and fitting).

Yup, Five0 echoes my view. A few months ago, F1s could be got for £70 (different place), which in my view is a better offer, but I don't know if that's still around.

I had P Zeros on my previous MY99 and they were appalling in the wet when cornering (especially wet roundabouts ). No where near as good as Bridgestone IMHO.

I enquired about these at ATS in Huddersfield, £64.99 + £9.00 per wheel for new valve and balancing. The guy didn't recommend them for Scooby's though due to lack of grip, we usually fit these tyres to... wait for it... Volvo's, and we havn't got any in stock till next Tuesday, The offer ends on Monday, well done ATS i didn't want Pirell's anyway.

Funny thing is I rang Prodrive (got number from directory enquiries) and the guy I spoke to there recommended P Zeros. I guess he thought I was on 17" wheels, as the WR upgrade at that time was for 17" prodrive alloys with P Zeros. I can tell you from experience 205/50 ZR 16 P Zero's are terrible. Even in the dry they understeered far too much for my liking. Not a confidence inspiring tyre IMO.

Just got SO2's from www.micheldever.co.uk
Dinnae seem to be any bother with supply
Think they were about £80+vat and post
Maybe Prodrive would say Pirelli as they get them for free as sponsors of some rally thing they do at weekends
