Cleaning my filter
I need to clean my filter,
Ive got one of these that sits down in wheel arch.

whats best to use? Do i really need to spend £20 on this

Oil it? Jeez, don't you guys read the comments on here about oil from filters killing MAFs??????
I'd wash it in something like Wickes Paintbrush cleaner, the blue stuff, which is a fantastic degreaser. Rinse out with hot water, wash again in hot water with a little washing up liquid, rinse again, shake, or swing it hard to remove excess water, and leave to dry in a warm place for 24 hours.
