Default Hi there

Hi, I'm brand new here, bought an Impreza Turbo 2000 Wagon on saturday and conquered the insurance beast yesterday! I'm really finding my feet with everything, especially the power! I'm totally unsure of the BHP etc, there have been a fair few modifications, so hopefully maybe i can pinch some advice

anyway, its nice to be here.

Jim

Welcome Jim.

Make sure your insurance knows all the modifications

make a list of your mods and I'm sure a few on here will give you a rough output

hey, thanks

fortunately (but not for my wallet) they do know about them all. it cost me an arm and a leg!
here goes.

Bailey Dump Valve
Walbro Fuel Pump
Remap
RamAir Filter
Exeddy Clutch
Dropped 50mm
Scorpion Exhaust (i think just the rear box for the moment)

Think that's everything, If i'm correct it should be 208bhp standard, so i'm assuming that will have risen a fair bit! it certainly seems to go like stink

Without removing any cats and basically leaving the exhaust flow the same... I'd not expect more then 30/30 with a re-map (going on newage/hatch trends).. so 240odd.

To release those extra ponies (250+) you really need to de-cat or fast flow cat the exhaust

i've put some up in the garage, but will be taking a few nicer pics later after i've fully valeted it and washed, polished and waxed it just hope it doesn't hammer down with rain!

240 sounds good the fastest previous car was a st183 celica which had about 160, so i guess thats why i can feel such a difference

Assuming it has retained all 208 of its factory fresh ponies.
