Power at the wheels
#1
What sort of powers do you get at the wheels of a standard '99 scooby on a dyno (or any scooby for that matter)? I am getting about 180BHP using an AP22 power meter on the road - does that sound about right for a standard (I think!) ~220BHP engine?

Just check out the dyno section, it sounds pretty good thou if your getting 180bhp@wheels as most seem to push around 160 in std form, needs by the looks around 270-280bhp to get 200bhp@wheels normally.
Most losses are due to the transmission thou and thus the lower readings you will see in the dyno section

A rolling road dyno will read lower power at the wheels than your AP22. This is because the r/road has 2 contact patches per tyre which increases the losses/drag. Your AP22 will give you a more representative PAW figure than a R/Road.
If you add 22% to your PAW you should get the approx power at the flywheel.
