hi guys bought a turbo which was rebuilt by zen an just wondering if these have shaft play as standard. ive heard yeps an nopes but dont know the real answer. mine has play left an right but not in an out. once oil is in it will the play stop. thanks for looking

I think its ok if it has play side to side on these turbo's , as long as it don't touch the sides , as its needs oil , i'm sure some one who knows more about turbo's will come along and confirm this though , as would like to make sure myself as ive got a new turbo with a bit of shaft play

yep checked to see if catches the sides an it doesnt at all. might be paranoid but still useful to know an make me res my mind.

my old andy.f 20g had movement from side 2 side and worked fine you will always get some play on them
