R7 RACE INTERCOOLER???????
Has anyone fitted one of these kits on their classic?
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SUBARU-IMPREZA...#ht_1679wt_911
Thought it seemed like a good product and has a 3 year warranty which I haven't seen on many others around!
Just concerned with how good the fit is? Or weather I'm better of sticking with a Japspeed or maybe spending more for Hybrid one from Aztec performance?
Cheers

With the Hybrid you are getting a tried and tested proven product and there are many Subaru owners on here that can confirm the quality, performance and longveity. The Hybrid GT Core is tube and fin as opposed to bar and plate and I sell the GT for £270. Fitting professiomally is £185. The kit also contains an additional joiner for the BOV spiggot.
I also have here two cheap copies but I prefer not to sell them. The cores are a bit of a joke. On examination the bars are not straight and the workmanship is disgraceful. The kit came with some extra parts, not part of the kit but two joiners and clamps were missing. One of the hard pipes has an oval profile where it should be a radiused bend of full diameter abd one of the ends is seriously misshapen. I have no idea what fun and games there might be trying to get it to fit.
To a certain extent you do get what you pay for and I doubt that a very cheap intercooler kit will end up cost and performance effective.
