Default Panel filter

Which panel filter do u guys use and can u just drop one straight in and go or does it need a plug in ?

Non oiled ones are the better option IMHO. Green and k&n are your best option

Both of them are oiled

But yes, either of the above are good filters. There's a test in the new Jap Performance and both give over 10hp on a blob STI

Ok lightly oiled! hehe i have a green and it seems fine. Wouldnt clean and reoil myself, just get another.

The same article had a comment from K&N who tested approx 200 MAFs that had failed and whilst approx 20 had oil contamination, they could not prove that the failure was a result of the oil contamination.

I'd go for the K&N .. used them in all previous scoobs with no problems.. plus if it's good enough for Andy Forrest when he's remapping ( check his website ) then it's good enough for me!

Thanks, it was the resonator Delete which andy mentions on his site that stopped me getting one before I asked
