Notice of intended prosection - any loopholes ?
I received one for doing:
53 in 40 @ 05.29hrs on the North Circular in London !
I have been told i can ask them to provide a copy of the photo and calibration cert for the machine before sending off my details ? Is it worth it ? True ?
Anything else ?
Any help welcome ......
Cheers

I think that's going a bit far! It's not like he was doing 80 in a 40 was he?! Now that would be a menace to the public. I know nothing about London, but at 5.30am I doubt there would have been anyone else on the roads at that time.

basically your banged to rights not much chance of getting off i got the pics as requested and was told (by a friend who is in the legal profession) just to pay up i was done for exactly the same speed 53 in a 40, 50 yards from a 70 duel carriageway, TW@TS
if you can afford one of those fancy legal eagles the chances are you may get off, but they are reserved for the rich and famous
they want you hard earned and the chances are they will get it

Hardly a menace as the post says !!!!!
It was 05.29 in the am - dry roads and it had 3 lanes in the ML so wasn't as if no one could see me especially with camera's every 1500 yrds - i just missed one of the government revenue generating machines !!!!
Might just pay it and move on then ! Buggers bloody camera's - if it had a been a police man he would have stopped me - chatted - checked my docs and i bet you i would have been let off with a warning !
Cheers for the other comments everyone else !

Just don't go to court unless you have a cast-iron case, and even then think twice.
Otherwise, your £60 and 3 becomes £300 and 4, plus about £200 costs and a £15 victim surcharge.
NOT funny.
