Waiting to get my 5 door 99uk car soon and want to know if any mods can be done without Subaru spotting?

its a 22k miler with a subaru proven warranty and as i am trading in my 317bhp cossie (2wd) i dont want to miss the power.

Any ideas

Cheers Rottie

Well as its only a 3 year warranty, there cant be too much of that left.

I would imagine you would be ok with a de-cat exhaust system, and air filter.

Enjoy

How long is left on the warranty?

I think they are being a bit fussy, I have a full scoobysport on mine, and its a Euro import, and I managed to get 2 dealers interested in doing some warranty work.

My advise.......ask another dealer the same question.

Car will come with 12 month Subaru warranty.

Problem is this is my only local scoob garage for about 40-50 miles. Any ideas on where i can get prodrive prices from.

Shop around for the PPP, you can get it as low as 1700 quid if not a little cheaper (try Adams of Aylesbury, think thats the one).
There was a group buy on PPP's a little under a year ago, went for 1700 ish each.

Rottie, as stated, only Prodrive mods will keep your warranty intact on a NEW car. If it's a dealer warranty on a used motor, best check with them first. Other than Prodrive, anything else and you'll prolly be on your own. It's common sense really - if you chip it, decat the exhaust and blow the motor you're asking for trouble, but if you upgrade the brakes then lose a big-end there shouldn't be a problem.

But if you're looking to get bhp like your old cossie, nobody will warranty that. Enjoy

Richard.

You could put Gold Wheels on it,of course, then the only warranty you would be invalidating is Gods warranty on your Masculinity No good coming back and complaining that you are wearing dresses, stilettoes and have taken a distinct fancy for White handbags - God will NOT want to entertain any claims!!

Do ya just love me?
