Is it just me or is there a lull in Exhausts up for sale?
I've been on here for last 6 months or so , and there always were people selling or swapping exhausts ( *cough* Powerwrx )
I've been thinking of changing for the last week or so and there just doesn't seem to be anyone selling their Ninja/ Afterburner / Tornado Backboxes .. there hasn't been any for a while
Is it only me who keeps changing his mind?

Subaru is not what it use to be anymore
you see some people driving them now and i think god knows how much insurance he has paid
once over it was people who either had lots of spare cash or people who had gone through the silly stages of life with other cars now seems like there all over and a lot of chavs are now driving them.
very annoying giving the true scooby fans a bad name driving them like ****

I have noticed that the General For Sale and Wanted sections in the Marketplace have both slowed right up, the same sellers bumping stuff back up and very few parts that I am interested in coming up for sale.
I think the introduction of the need to be a fee paying member will put people off selling their parts on here but having said that on eBay you have to pay listing fees, final sales fees etc plus fees for enhancements on your listings as well. Plus of course the obligatory PayPal fees as well, so perhaps the yearly fee required by Scoobynet is not so bad after all.
There is one thing that does bug me; you do not need to be a fee paying member to post in the Wanted section so has anyone noticed posts like:
Wanted - A Buyer For My Car
Now that really winds me right up, pay your fees you tightwads (waiting for quite a few posts now slagging me off for saying it).
I have to say as well that even being a fee paying member of Scoobynet does not guarantee the fact that you will keep your buyers happy as has been recently witnessed by all, and this was a long standing seller with a high Itrader rating.
Oh, and by the way speaking of exhausts I will be selling an STi Genome silencer shortly if anyone is interested...

The for sale sections quiet because of this stupid paying rule. There was nothing wrong with it in the first place, One section for paying members one section for none paying. When buying something take caution or pick it up in person. If your that worried or cant do either buy from the paying member section.

Agree,i have a Blitz Nurspec R, hate it, have to have the bung in it to have it acceptable but then im losing about 20 bhp, wish i never got it !
i did have an HKS system but it was showing its age so replaced it, wish i had gone or could find a decent 2nd hand system, the blitz is mint so dont want to sell it for a ropey HKS 10 yr old system etc,i luv the angled exit bck boxes so thats a must !
eyes peeled i guess

So it wasn't just me then
Cannon Fodder .. I agree.. I think the yearly membership fee is fair..for what u gain from it ie knowledge and help from other members, good banter, and 2nd hand parts etc , I think it's good value ..maybe it should be for EVERY section? I paid mine just so I could be a perv and access the Adults only section!
Sorry The Rig.. The Blitz is way too loud for me too! I'm looking for something that's nice and burbly but can bung too..just not THAT loud
Ironically I sold a Racebox when I 1st came on here!! Doh!
pslewis.. Ur Ninja is for Classic fitment, mine's a New Age I have a spare 4" bung .. wonder if it would fit a Ninja 1 backbox anyway?

Just sold 2 exhaust in the last 2 days: 1 was a scoobysport backbox, and the other was a twin exit cobra system for a classic/newage. Even though i am a paying member on here,i still listed them on ebay as i did not know what they were worth.
Have to agree with the above statement as i had an afterburner vortex angled exit on my last wagon, and although it sounded great ,didn't look as good as when fitted on the saloons imho.
Looked around and bought this for £40,which needed a 10p piece sized bit of welding on one of the hangars.
https://www.scoobynet.com/west-mids-...ighlight=ninja
Got it fitted on the car and much prefer the straight exit look ,especially on the wagons. Also is a brilliant sounding backbox - loud but not deafening and with the option of a silencer bung, which i have not felt the need to buy.
The bung was a 'must have ' when i had the vortex as i live opposite an old peoples home

Scooby wagon addict it does not matter if the ninja systems you are looking at on ebay are for classics as the one i bought was for a newage, yet as you pointed out my car is a classic. The only difference is the middle hangar is not used. You can put a classic backbox on a newage and vice versa. When it is fitted you can not see it,and being as it is the 2 rear hangars that take the weight of the backbox, your exhaust does not move.
The scoobysport backbox i sold 2 days ago was not made with with a centre hangar fitted - therefore it would fit any turbo impreza from 1993 - 2005 perfectly.
If you check the link i have posted then this ninja exhaust is listed as for a 1993 - 2000MY,it will fit that car ,but the actual exhaust is off a newage car as the centre hangar is on the right and would fit your car perfectly.
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SUBARU-IMPREZA...item1c13327b06
If you look at this exhaust below it is the same exhaust, but this one would fit your car,but the centre hangar would not line up,however it would go straight on a classic with all 3 hangars being used.

Ah I see .. I was concerned incase it put a strain on the system if the centre hanger wasnt attached ..
Thanks midnight
Does anyone reading this have a Ninja 1 backbox? Would love to kno if it'd take a bung as I have 1 for a 4" zorst.
