The car looks like a 2ltr twin scroll Spec C, so you wont get one over here from a dealer as they are grey imports, and they are quicker than the 2.5's and handle better
Would like to see how quick the hatch did it in, bet there is no time difference or the hatch may have been slightly quicker, beats the MY05 Spec C type RA's time by 4 seconds

Thought it would of been quicker then that with the vf42 and 6 pots up front. Must be a lot heavier then the previous spec c's.
By the looks of the thread below the video the car is coming to the UK. However the spec c varient won't be.

I was going to get one in the next12months but now VERY Un-interested as said in the Article below and will probably move to a different Marque
Perhaps one of Iains LM400 as he is very friendly with the chaps from STi

watching that he could go quicker. He looses time running wide at the end and ran wide in a fewother corners, also had a bit of an issue with a down shift, went into 2nd, then strfaight to 3rd for a about a second then to 4th.
NOt much time lost, fews seconds but impressive none the less.
I really want one

It has to be pointed out that this is a totally different car to what is available in the UK, this is a more focused and better handling car out of the box, Shaun, I doubt they have done much to it, the original record attempt car was standard, that was their point, an out of the box car that could pee all over the expensive german cars which were 2-3 times the price but it would be good to see what they are like in the flesh

I am yet to source the facts on the STi saloon rumoured to be based on the spec C

Dccd setup is different on the 05 to 06 and the additional roof spoiler made the car handle much better through the slalom testing. Think it was one of the quickest untill the new GTR beat it.

Doubt ti will be based on the spec c as it has the 2.0 litre engine unless they go back to 2.0litre as it's much easier to register an import now. Saying tht it was very easy in 2000-2006, but they optes for a difference engine maybe it works out cheaper for subaru uk with a lower spec engine.
