I had to do the same things a few years ago to pay off student fees (wel a lot of years ago if im honest)
I used it as an incentive to get myself in the position where I could afford a better one in the future, it works it gives you a little private goal to achieve and it makes the sale a little less painful.

or maybe even the 2011 STi as I think they look amazing as a saloon 
but that might be out of my reach so 2004 STi I recon
