Default How much do they go for?

Hello,

dont post to much on here but am an avid reader.
Just after a bit of advice.
im currently trying to sale my 1996 wrx. shes standard other then alloys and well looked after.
Has new tyres all round service history 12 months MOT and 6 months TAX
Mileage is pretty low for year at 75k
ive put this up for 2600 ono but dont seem to have any interested at all.

My question is am i realy asking to much? i thought this was a good price based on what others seem to sell at but been up for over 2 weeks now an nothing!

Too much mate imho.

I would say £1800 is more realistic.

I hope you get more than £1800 mate, but it will be tough.

The car market is slow at the moment, so it may take months to sell it.

I know from experience.

Good luck.

I'd say around £2100-2300 for your car fella. £1800 to me would be scraping the barrel on a fresh "dock" import.

When you say "i thought this was a good price based on what others seem to sell at" does that mean you are going on advertised prices or known prices for what said cars did actually sell for?

There is a biiig difference there. Optimisitic prices doesn't mean they sell for that. I know from personal experience

Good luck anywho

Well just browsing piston heads and autotrader realy they seem to start at 1700 ish but they seem to have 100k odd miles and look tied then they seem to go up to around 2800 for un abused decent mileage "fresh" examples... so figured 2400 would be good price.
guess ill just have to hold tight and see what happens
