Opinions on showplates please!
Thinking of getting black/silver ones for my car (as it goes)...
What do you guys think?
P.S. what do you use to attach them?

From: East london.....with my head under my bonnet.
Mr plod will make you take them off buddy, plus a £70 fine. Not only that, it gives them reason to nose around the car and find something else to sting you with (bald tyres, decats, noisy exhausts, tints blah blah blah)
They look nice, but are totally illegal (unless you car is extremely old, made in the 40's)
So if you can afford a 70 quid fine, go for it!

For shows.
Industrial grade Velro strip or patches is the easiest way to make them fully interchangeable.
Just remember to swap them over before venturing back on road though.

I had a black / silver plate made up for my bike !!! It looked great but after getting pulled twice ( £40 each time ! ) I swapped it back for standard. Good luck to you though mate, I think they look awesome !!!!!

Nah not worth chancing... cops stare at the car anyway so anything to give them an excuse to stop me. Haven't as yet but I'm sure it will happen... young female driver and all that.
