She Drove Away Today!!
Watched the car I have spent 10 years and 100,000 miles with drive away tonight
The end of an era for me .... will I ever enjoy the like again?
Every mile was a great mile .... thanks Subaru for making a car such as that and I am thankful I lived at a time to enjoy it - those days are numbered due to tax, fuel and the future of the brand.
I'm sure the new owner will enjoy the next 10 years too!

Got any pictures of this 'fabled' car Pete??
Always wondered what she looked like with a zimmer frame on the roof
PS - block the number plates and no pictures of you or the house, I'm one of the few that don't want to come round and sh@g your dog

There has been interest from the PH Advert .... I guess being standard, UK, totally genuine and One Owner made it unmissable - when will the next one appear like that?

It will be a great miss to you 'o great one '
looks like I will continue to have one of the very few
one owner from new subarus
low mileage 57k well maintained ,
very little mods( only springs and decat and gold wheels and P1 splitter )
and of course polished and lives in it's luxury garage only to be used for meeting and taken out for cleaning
We will see in five years time how many of us are left

Bet you are really genuinely sorry to see her go, I've never had a car more than 2 years, i get board far too easy but even when i had my new type R sat on the drive and someone had come to collect my RB5 i was still sad to see it go. Even though i had a better car sat on my drive, i still had doubts that i had done the right thing.
But to be honest pete diesels are the way forward and think you've made a good choice, the bm 335d is gonna be my next car within the next few months i think, anyway good luck with the new motor!
If you don't mind me asking, how much did you get for the impreza, did you get a better premium with you being the one owner??

I pulled the bedroom curtains back this morning and thought someone had nicked the Scooby!!! I have been expecting that for 10 years - for a few moments I thought I had fallen victim!
I feel a whole lot better knowing that it hasn't gone to a chav

I had one eye on re-sale and a new Impreza with all the rising costs attached to it would have been madness (besides, the dog won't fit ... and, worse, the quality of the build is really bad - the plastics are unforgiveable on a £28k car).
I won't disclose what I received for my car - but it was advertsied at £2950 ... and there was a very healthy interest in it at that price.

I put it down to having mechanical empathy with a car
someone else gets in and rags it from cold, brakes hard, changes gear like a demented 12 yr old etc etc - and wonder why is goes pop

I'd never call Pete a liar...so I'm assuming this really WAS his motor
