If you're after a 306 GTi-6 why don't you look at a Clio 172 phase one instead? Can have one for similar money these days, its a tad newer, a tad quicker too. Or a Saxo VTS or 106 GTi is pretty much as quick and are quite affordable too.

Having said that the Pug 6's are pretty decent drivers toys, not the last word in power but a well balanced chassis and well respected amongst the hot-hatch brigade.

Listen to the top end carefully, there known for snapping belts prematurely and the valves bend so so easily, normally one thats had a repair taps from the head and eventually it will drop the end of the valve off - v common prob.

Great cars had a few, and a phase1 clio 172, prefer the clio all day long
