I should imagine this time of year and euro import prices you should get a good deal. Also depends on how you are looking to buy, part ex/cash/finance. Dealers love finance as they make money off you for finance charges. Make sure the car you buy is a 2002 model and not an old unregistered 2001 model. Unless, of course,
they have a healthy discount on a 2001 model as there isnt much between the specs anyway.
Haggle hard and talk to more than one dealer and see what extra they will chuck in
.

Forget main dealers. I was quoted £1600 off when I said I was looking at importing! Saved another £3,400 by doing that - less than £17,000 OTR for WRX. Car UK spec as well. There are 2 drawbacks to this - 1. you need to wait 5 months; 2. no dealer will let you have a loan car! Worth the money and the wait though... If you're interested, try www.keyring-cars.co.uk.

I paid £20800 for my silver WRX 3 weeks ago (main dealer). That included clear indicators / side reflectors and Tracker.
Haggle and you will get a good deal. If you are not fussed about getting a pre MY02 some dealers have got MY01's to shift, and that is a good starting point for negotiations (old model etc
).
I wanted MY02, but still got a good discount. However, the discount came from a very good trade in for my previous Turbo. At the end of the day its the "price to change" that counts.
