Hand wash or Car wash??
Hi People although i have always washed my car by hand, i was just wondering how many of you wash your cars by hand. Or use a car wash? I had heard that car washes have ripped peoples spoilers off. Has anyone ever had this happen or know of it hapnin?

I hand wash at home, Jet wash at home and Poor boy polish for me. Those car washes basically get all the grit off other cars and then slap it on yours with massive bits of flannel.

You get to know every pannel of your car when you hand wash. I now get to stress out, every time to park my car up somewhere random. Expecting to find a blemish on my 100% looked over/after otherwise perfect paint!

buy yourself a dual action polisher (meguirs are a good one check ebay), you can polish out imperfections yourself with them. Do remember though that it shouldnt be done too often as you are basically removing paint when you do use a machine polisher (think of it as an easier way of t cutting!)

Rule of thumb is that if you can feel the scratch with your nail it is too deep though .....
