without ashadow of doubt yes but you will need to get an ecu that was ment to run td05 cause yours wont handle the extra volume of air the tdo5 will produce.Ryan

are you prepared to spend the money upgrading the rest of the engine to get the full potential of the turbo or where you just going to bolt on a TD05 and hope for the best? at best you will have a laggy car in every gear at worst you could be doing damage to your engine.

You can't just bolt on a different turbo and hope for the best. There's far more to it...

When you say which one is best ???,best at what ?.If your looking for quick spool up and rapid acceleration then stick with your td04,which will start hitting boost around the 2300 rpm mark.
If your after better mid range grunt then opt for the td05,which will boost later than the smaller td04,and see the boost rising higher in the rev range.- both are good turbos, depending on which route you want to take imho.

You cant just bolt on a TD05 either. It was a simple swap on an earlier car which only needed different oil pipes, but later cars require the ninety degree inlet machining off for a start!
