Default Car didnt start this morning :(

Gutted! tried starting car up this morning and nothing!

Think I've got issues with Fuel pump wiring, I had the same thing happen to me 4 months ago and thought it was the fuel pump so replaced that with a walbro and everything was cushdie till this morning

Ive got a classix wrx 93. worse thing is i was planning upgrade of injectors and installing apexi power fc next week Grrrr.

Any ideas folks?

The wiring is inherrantly poor to the fuel pumps on classics, i'm sure there is a plastic connector block near the fuel pump that is common to short out/melt (under the back seat i think?) have a look and see if the wiring is ok buddy.
Regards
Matt

Mine used to flood, and refuse to start, if I as much as stroked the throttle before attempting to start it.

It would then go if I continued cranking while slowly depressing the throttle to the floor.

I now sit with my foot against the side kick panel before turning it over, ESPECIALLY with cold starts

Does sound like flooding, did you press the throttle open before you turned the key??

might be worth putting some new spark plugs if they are old. Then monitor it. might just be they are getting a bit worn.

recently changed the coilpacks and sparks, might be worth a check on the carbon deposits though.

Good idea, and double check the electrode gap.
