Default Does a 2007 WRX with PPP warble?

I soon may be back in impreza land. Its been a long time (as you can tell i have forgotten my SN username!)

Looking at a 2007 with ppp. Do they still sound like a subaru should?? I know they equaled the headers at one point and they all became a bit mute.

(ps. Used to have a STI V with full deact and SS exhaust. Best car i ever had. That was a bit loud though....)

Dont let me down SNetters!

not really tbh, although remove the 2nd cat and change the backbox to something better, Nur Spec, Vortex etc. and you will be bang on the money.

Birds warble...not frank.

I drove a 06 with PPP and sounded sweet. Perhaps it had another breathing mod done but no record of it.

Remove the resonated pipe and change the back box and the burble will be back. They are not a 'deep' as the 2.0, but none the less, still sound very 'scooby'. Incidentally, the headers on uk cars are all unequal still.

if you decat the downpipe then you need a remap. just decat the centre section (or 2nd cat) first and see what you think

As LuckyScoob said mate! I have an '07 STi and on fitting a Scorpion Cat-Back, it has a nice deep burble. The Cat-Back system removes the resonator anyway mate.
