I bet the bloke driving feels like a right tw*at. Hopefully no-one was injured too seriously.

Surely something went wrong for the poor guy/gal? Surely something that would shoot off like that you would slam the brakes on!??

Maybe if Mr Stella or Mr Carlsberg we part of it? Unless the driver has some form of medical black out etc?

I am sure it wouldn't be the first time that your typical doddery Honda Civic driver (like PSL) has pressed the accelerator rather than the brake. He was probably trying to find the disabled parking spaces and got it wrong.

Alternatively, maybe the jealous Civic driver owned the SECOND-oldest surviving E-Type Jaguar.

I noted that mistake; The car it hit was clearly not the oldest E-type. Maybe its the oldest roadster, as the oldest E-type is actually 9600HP, a FHC prototype. Famed for doing its 150mph top speed (which it has since never been able to do )

edit; 77RW is the first production E-type roadster (9600HP is pre-production, 1VHP is the first production FHC ). Chassis code E2A is another existing prototype (concept car) that predates both, but that is a race car with little in common to the production versions (worth $5m).

That was dated yesterday - I thought the show opened to the public today!
