Urgent advice needed possible wheel nut problem
Wonder if anyone can help? I got a puncture today, when the guy was putting the wheel back on the car he commented that the wheel nuts where pulling in to far and not actually sitting correctly on the 60deg taper inserts in the wheel, please see attached picture.
Wheels are prodrive fitted to an 08sti with what i think are STD wheel nuts.

You need other wheelnuts.
Standard wheels have steel inserts to prevent this.
Without those inserts you need larger nuts, or else they will pull through.

Second and more important NEVER use the small OE wheel nuts on aftermarket wheels which do not have the steel inserts found on OE wheels. These can pull through the holes with disasterous results. If you have done this I advise don't use the car until you have replaced the nuts with bigger coned aftermarket ones. These will do the job:

I think that the dealer should put it right, but I think they are not going to do that.
Wheelnuts are not too expensive, so even if the dealer does not pay for them to be changed, I certainly would NOT drive the car without new,larger nuts.

Looks to me if those wheels are genuine PFF7 and do have steel inserts so should be ok although I agree they do not look right. Best to replace:
