Should I contemplate buying a car that has a oil leak?

As above.
The car in question is a JDM S/tb Forester about 80k miles (not km's). From the photos it looks like the front seal leaking over the exhaust and has been for a long while, the underside of the engine bay is a mess. Apart from this though it looks to be in fairly good nick. STI struts, lowered a bit, and has rota's fitted with good rubber.
Asking price is £1000 lowered from 1300 a few months back.
What do you think?

So 2 to 1 votes![Thumb](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/thumb.gif)
I was more thinking along the lines of what could have been damaged. Obviously I'd have a good listen whilst looking around.
Would there be any way of knowing if at some point a low oil level had hurt the engine or turbo?
