Default dash stopped working?
the mileage counter on my 96 wrx stopped working, the trip counter still works though. is it just a loose cable or something?

Most probably knackered unfortunately as most probably one of the small gears inside the speedo head may have been worn down or broken,I had this happen twice on my 93wrx.
You may be better off sourcing a replacement.
