i would say definately depending on where u live and if u will have chance to coast home to cool it down i dont so or more to the point wont i wud always have 1 on my car you have to let your car cool down and you dont want to be sat in your car at the end of each journey for couple of mins just letting the car cool down do you ive had 1 in evry turbo car ive had

Correct me if I am wrong any water cooled turbo does not need timer,common sence costs little,when you pull up while you are checkin your hair in rear view mirror should be enough time for tubo to cool,Ps would rather spend £1 on furry dice

You are not wrong. People mistakenly believe that because Japanese cars are imported with them, and that Japanese cars are good, that the Japanese obviously know what they are doing - hence theyre a viable upgrade.
The truth is that the Japs love gimmicks (and this is why they have excessive buttons and levers for something like mirror adjustment, that Ze Germans control with two buttons) and that tat like this amuses them.
