New to this site so hope Iv put this in the right forum.

Just Bought my first Subaru, 99 T WRX 80 K, TDO5 18 G & all the usuall stuff, Exhaust Induction kit Forge dump valve. ECUTECK remap couple of weeks ago by Dyno demon showing 342 bhp. So well pleased as you can imagine.

My question is that iv checked the vin tags and the model code is :

GC8GK8D

VIN : JF1GC8KD3X904

Iv had a nose around the tinternet and apparently this code belongs to an RB5 ..? Im no expert but i thought they only made those in that steel blue color and mine is white with no clues to it being an RB5..??

Any ideas folks..??

I am in the same boat but mine is 00 on a V plate and its silver

Think that is the code for a standard my99 uk turbo as well. And if yours has this its not a wrx. Its a uk turbo. WRX is import only on that year.
