risks before remap

Default risks before remap

would it be possible on my classic wrx to fit a td05 18g, 550 injectors, front mount, fuel lab reg, walbro, fmic and 3 in exhaust THEN drive 150 miles to my closest mapper? would the car still be alive if i took it easy?

just use jolly green monster and he will come to you , prob solved
where abouts are you ?? as 150 miles to a mapper seems a little far

im in aberdeen and was plaing on heading to edinburgh to andy forest. he seems to be the only one in scotland?

be fine off boost
in case of excess fuel in oil change the oil soon after map

If in doubt ask your chosen mapper, Andy F. He will be able to give you all the advice you need.

maybe andy f will recomend you fit the items and set the FPR at a lower pressure then standard to try and prevent any over fuelling, and drive the car steadily without using boost.

My car needed a(nother) rebuild when the previous owner was driving it around after serious mods & no remap I wouldn't chance it ...

Should be fine if you keep off boost and lower the FPR.

Am going down to Andy F from Aberdeen myself in a few weeks with a similar setup.

Am also fitting a 3 port boost solenoid but doing that once I get to Andys along with upping the fuel pressure.

Wallace performance in Bridge of Don also map imprezas, I just fitted a td05 16g and got a simtec ecu installed and mapped by them on Friday.
Waiting time is only about 2 weeks at the moment to get on the rollers.

Matty mapped my car (Not sure what his last name is) He did a fine job and I will be going to him for all my future tweaks / upgrades.
