Had two scoob's now and it is time to get a new car. I have the 06 sti. What would you buy for around £25k? The safe bet is a 330sti hatch, Porsche c4s seemed slow and an m3 seemed disappointing. How can you match the sti? Am I missing anything obvious?

A JDM 2ltr twin scroll STI hatch ![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)
Has none of the issues suffered by the 2.5 hatch, its steering feel is better due to different steering components, the engine is much stronger and they produce more power out of the box (both bhp and torque

Thought as much. There really is nothing Else out there. Have blown away most of the supposed competition and the remap has made it impossible - unless i save for ten years and buy a lambo!
M5 was an option but you are looking at 50k plus miles for the sort of money I have.
Is the jdm much better than the 06 sti remapped? Seems a shed load of cash

Nearly new 370Z.
3.7 V6, rear wheel drive, on/off button for Traction control.
Just had mine up over the Pennines today.
Brough to Middleton-in-teesdale.
MIT to Alston.
Alston to Penrith, the back down the A66.
Brilliant fun day. Brakes never faded once (and the got used a lot) and once you hit the ESP off button, it flies along.
