On all seriousnes .. I have a Blobeye Wagon with Prodrive Springs and for some reason seem to remember a long time ago I had a Wagon that couldn't handle 225 profile tyres..mainly the rears rubbed. Currently on 215/45/17s and wondered could I fit 225/45/17s?
Btw promise this'll be the last thread I post on tyres

I had 225 45/17's on my last 99 uk wagon and had no probs at all,but i was running std suspension.I currently have 225/45/17's allound on my current car and pretty much the same. The difference in the 2 sizes of tyres is 10 mm(1cm),so if they are rubbing best stick with 215's. Incidentally quite a few scooby owners opt for 215/225 - 40 - 17's

Thanks midnight .. I've not tried them yet and dont want to buy 4 225s and then find I have rubbing! I keep on making expensive mistakes like that !
Think the 215/40/17s are suited for the Classics
