Default 2 questions for you all

1 has any body delt or bought from this site http://www.ultimatemods.co.uk/ ??.

2 i was in halfords today and noticed that wyans do a oil additive that helps sticky/noisey lifters. has any one used this does it work ?? many thanks guys and gals.

as for the company mate i cant comment but id use forte top end treatment as it is very good,change the oil first and add with the fresh and it can work wonders on noisy lifters mate.

API did a guide somewhere on here about what to do about noisy lifters and what oil / treatment to use

thanks for the info, i shall search for that guide. and are they a good company they dont answer emails from a month ago so im hesitant to buy from them. cheers

Noisey Lifters, is that what that noise is. Sounds like an old Singer sewing machine, very light tippy tappy noise ? If so how do you quieten them down ? my O3 WRX uses 5W30 Mobil 1 oil that they use at the local Subaru dealer, I'm assuming thats why I can hear them ?

tbh im not sure of what is the best oil to use , but its norm 10w 40 i think ?

be aware that the injectors make aslight noise also,some more than others.

you probably wont have one but i use i stethascope beleive it or not lol no doctor jokes,in my garage but it does take a trained ear to know the diifference mate

lol i know of this trick my mate uses it , it does actually work. so what oil would you put in mate mines a non turbo ?

good quality 10w/40 semi synthetic will do the trick mate[mobil or the like]
