Default STI TYPE-R MODIFICATIONS

Hello folks. Can anyone point in the right direction of what I need in order to get the most out of my type-r? I have a vf-22 turbo ,Graham Goode gauges, Graham Goode ECU, blitz nurberg exhaust, blitz turbo timer, blitz dump valve, 57i kit as the current configuration..
I have purchased a Single Spray Nos system, im going to fit a FMIC, and iv been told to fit a TD05 20G Turbo as well.
1..What size of injectors should I fit??
2..Would the recommended td05 turbo be any better than the vf22?
3..Are there any other performance parts I can fit ?? 5th injector perhaps??
All ideas and recommendations greatly welcomed.
Pete.

to get the most out of anything, you need to know where your end point is!!
what do you want out of your car?
answer that then find out how to get there.
everyone of us drive different roads in different ways and want different things.
so make your car, your car!!!

What model/year is it? ie MY97 version 3 as engines differ as do the things that go wrong with these.

Tony, Its a '98 car, but the engine is brand new in January. Its was running in excess of 345bhp on the old engine, until it blew. I had a new Forged STI engine fitted, when this happened.

Im sure the V4 Type R comes with a VF24 from standard unless you have upgraded to a VF22.

So a version 4 car, phase 1.5 engine (thats with the coil pack sitting central on top of the inlet manifold).
As you can see, 350 is about as much as you want to run one of these, the 20G is far too big and will produce far too much power for this engine, causing failure again

There is also no indication of an aftermarket ecu fitted to your car? if you run the above mods without the car being remapped it will just go pop again so if you have a FULL list of mods that are on the car, it would be appreciated

The VF22 is the most fragile of all the VF turbo series so moving from that is worthwhile.
When you say STi forged internals do you mean Subaru STi pistons or do you mean aftermarket forged pistons. There is a difference. Standard rods?
There are TD05 20Gs that under perform and there are TD05 20Gs that give sparkling performance and there are TD05-06 20Gs that give really sparking performance well beyond what you probably need.
Assuming that you have Subaru STi pistons and standard rods then you can aim for 380-400 bhp and you will need 550 injectors. To go beyond that consider 740 injectors.
I have TD05 20G turbos with ported exhaust inlet, complete £850 that will do 380 bhp all day long. Subject to modifications some people claim up to 410 bhp.
Don't go down the fifth injector route. Get the right injectors for the job in the first place.
If your car has the standard TY752 gearbox consider it as expendable at that level and look for a TY754 replacement with the appropriate diff ratio (4.44 if standard) so you have a gearbox ready and probably purchased at a reasonable price as it is not a distressed purchase.
Sorry I can't advise you on nozzle size for NOS as I have no knowledge there.
Your power output will depend on the supporting mods and everything being done properly, eg. big enough air filter, heat management, exhaust, headers and so on.
Sorry but I most certainly don't agree with Tony and this is because of numerous first hand experiences including my own STi Wagon at 422 bhp/399 ft.lbs on standard STi pistons and one of my own turbos. The power figure for a typical STi 3 or 4 on standard internals with the right mods is easily 380-400 bhp.
