Ferrodo DS2500s replacing OEM pads after a lot of unnecessary worrying about whether they would be any good. They are much better than the OEM ones and the only downside is that they are very dusty and wheels don't stay looking clean for long.
Really, I read so much rubbish on the net (including on this forum) about the suitability of these pads, with some saying they were verging on dangerous in the cold and needed warming to work. I honestly don't know why some have found that as I've used mine in all seasons and they bite immediately, always! This includes while on a skiing trip to the Alps in sub-zero temperatures and snow!
I can put up with the dust, so don't see myself going elsewhere.
Mintex 1166 - well better than the DS2500's that I had before - on my 4th set of Mintex now - very dirty pad though - DS2500, much kinder to alloys - but I do not rate them in terms of performance
DS2500s on mine, not to my liking will be changing next time round as personally i have found them lacking in cooler weather and do take a bit of warming up which isn't too good where i live as its all bends, hills and tractors waiting around each one.
i had ds2500's on my first scoob - good all round pad imho, got mintex 1155 on my present car,and work well when warmed up albeit they are a little dusty imho
