Default fitting a turbo timer with a toad alarm

wanting to fit a turbo timer to my scoob, its fitted with a toad alarm, i have heard a rumour that you cant fit them to a scoob with toad alarm?? can anyone shed some lights on this?

They will cause problems with any tidy alarm and will also usually invalidate the category 1 status. However, such issues can be solved if you really want, but in practice it is all probably a moot point.

Maybe not the answer you're looking for but it's the best one you'll get, and solves your problem nicely: Turbo timers are sh*t. About as useful as a chocolate teapot, total waste of money.

They do not help your turbo/engine cool down. In fact, chances are it'll be hotter after idling at a standstill on a timer than it was when you took the key out. Best way to cool the engine after some fun is simply to drive off throttle for a few minutes, allowing your cooling system, and the steady flow of air through the engine bay, to bring things back down.

As such the best way forward for you at this point is to smile at your luck and spend the dosh you would have wasted on something useful.

in relation to a BOV, like the turbo timer, don't bother. offer little or no performance gains and they just sound so ghey.

sorry i ment turbo safe. NOT turbo smart.

The only BOV/DV for me is the original. Do I need to fit a loud one that makes the performance worse?
