Window tinting - nodding scooby doo
Hi all,
General question - I want to put window tinting on back side windows and rear window but also got a nodding scooby doo with transfer. What level of window tint would still allow people to see the nodding scooby on the rear parcel shelf?
I did want to put quite a dark shade but not the limo black.
Or is it possible the level of tint can be different in a small area compared to rest of window to allow people to see the nodding scooby doo?

Even with a light smoke on the rears, you may not be able to see it through that well. I wouldnt suggest altering the tint level in a particular area, as it may spoil the look. You could tint all 4 side windows dark smoke and leave the rear untouched. Only coz the rear window is double curved and a pain to tint!
Thats why mine is still without a rear tint. But it looks ok.
Hope this helps.

I didn't think you could tint the 2 front windows?
Bugger about not seeing the nodding scooby. Was thinking of having dark smoke - but suppose will have to re-think this as the nodding scooby should really be at the same place as the window transfer.

You can still tint the front 2 as long as it meets the percentage the fuzz like! Ive had mine dark smoke for nearly 2 years and been pulled over too, with no mention of the tint. It may depend on where you live aswell. But you can do it.
