Default help remote fob

HI

can anyone tell me if once you have changed the batteries on a subaru

remote fob , does it have to be programmed ?

reason i ask is i have changed my batteries and it does not work

Only a suggestion but have you tried the battery the other way round?

Do you mean the key or an alarm radio keyfob? - A black round fob with two grey buttons?

your key should be black did you get a blue subaru fob aswell

try turning the batteries round and keep trying standing near the bonnet mine took a few attempts to get working

Out of interest, when you say it doesn't work do you mean at all or from the usual distance?

Hello mate, yes you will need to reprogram it if you have taken the batteries out to put new ones in, or the batteries have naturally run so low that they have completely run out of power.

If the batterys have been out of the fob for more than 3 minutes you WILL have to reprogram the fob to the cars alarm system
