Prova ecu

Prova ecu
Just found out after 5 years of owning my Impreza, that it has a prova ecu fitted
After reading a bit about them noticed that you have to run OB aswell, or risk damaging engine. I have always run on Shell super, and luckily when i take it out for a proper run i fill it with ob. My wife uses the car during the week and has the kids, therefore the car never gets opened up during the week (when it has no ob in it). This maybe why i have owned it for 5 years with no engine probs.
Was just wandering what power to expect from it.
Currently the car has a full 3" Roger Clark system including downpipe.
Pace front mount.
HKS induction kit.
Got 550cc injectors and walbro fuel pump to be fitted, and gettin inlet manifold reversed.

Question: Is this Prova ECU mapped for the car's existing modifications? If not, and reading between the lines probably not, as far as the RCMS exhaust, at least, is concerned, it is anybody's guess whether it is running safely or not. Highly likely that it isn't.
I would have it looked at by someone who knows what they're doing before going any further, in particular as to what the mixtures are like, and whether it is combusting safely.
Also it's impossible for us to project what sort of power you can ultimately get out of it given that you haven't said what sort of car it is.
You will also need a further remap/adjustment when you fit the fuelling modifications. I couldn't tell you at this point whether the ECU you have at the moment is remappable. If it is, great. If not, you'll need to make alternative arrangements.

Sorry guys its a version 1 sti. Was going to get it remapped anyway before i found the ecu. Thought as it has a prova chip, i could just fit the injectors. Obviously not then. I live in Stoke-on-Trent, and take my car to GT-Motorsport who specialise in Subaru's. So ill speak to the guy there about it.
I think its a standard ecu, which has ben opened up and had an additianal mini circut board which is soldered to the spare socket in the corner.
Should i just get it mapped to run shell 99 ron fuel then (I live near a few shell garages).
