Stone chip on edge of door
I just realised that i've got a chip on the bottom rear door edge after only 1500 miles from new.
It's a Spec C so it doesn't have side skirts. I can understand the unavoidable minor chipping around the rocker panels, but this chip goes all the way to the metal. It's about almost 2mm in length.
And i've been driving on relatively clean roads.
I was thinking if this was caused by someone during delivery? With the doors closed, i can't see how a flying stone/pebble could make its way to the bottom of the door edge?
Anyone newage owners here (with & without side skirts) with chips along the bottom of your doors? Was it caused by road debris/stones?
