Hi all, I have a Hawkeye STI and am looking to get a turbo to back box system ( i have changed the back box to a H&S Afterburner Vortex from Scooby world) I have been quoted £471.00 by Pro Speed Cardiff which includes a 200 cpsi sports cat. Which will pass an MOT (apparently).

A few Questions / concerns I have are as follows..

1. What power gain can I expect from a turbo back system?

2. Is it safe to drive the car without a map with said system?

3. Has anyone here had an exhaust from pro speed if so are they any good? or can you recomend a better system for the money?

I would appreciate your thoughts or recommendations.

1: 360ish post remap

2: not really... sports cats and decats on the 2.5 require a remap (they overboost like crazy...the remap is to control this and fuel accordingly)

1. My Hawkeye WRX was running 249bhp before re-map with a turbo back exhaust with sports cat.

2. JGM said it was running fine before the map (boost and fuelling were spot on) but obviously much better after.

yes,100 cell cat mated to a nurspec r,emissions were spot on
