They charge that for replacement arches (can only get them as a rear quarter), then you'll have to pay lots to have them fitted and sprayed.
Much cheaper to have a bodyshop cut the rust out and fill/weld the hole.

losing battle, if the rear quarter is replaced the weld will likely just rust anyway! ive had panels cut and replaced on my near side rear arch and it just comes back else where! lol! driving me crazy!!

I have seen replacement panels quite cheap,seen a few replacement panels on ebay,new,not used,maybe not OEM parts,but its either the cheaper panel or rust or ££££

Coming up to 17 years old and many showing signs of rust on the rear arches especially just under the petrol flap
I've seen a few subarus with bubbles there and with my plans to keep my ten year old / owner classic fir another ten years I'm wondering how to tackle it when rhebubbles eventually appear

I have got to take this problem on with my project car- simply plan to take it down to my local bodyshop and see what they would advise I do.....then go do it myself if I can....

Mine goes in next week for drivers side. Its not bad, but has been done before apparantly, so we'll see whats what. Been quoted £260 ish depending on whats needed. Bloody annoying as the rest of the car is mint ![Frown](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/frown.gif)
