Default New track Scooby owner

I have posted on here a few times before but never as a Scooby owner but last weekend I won an eBay auction end ended up with track modified 2002 WRX.
Allegedly this motor stood the previous owner at 35K which after looking at the finnish and spec of the car sounds as though it could be right.
My plans are to use the car to replace my track 306 which I'm currently re-building to race hopefully in the LMA. Before I started the rebuild it was a pretty good spec and took me round the Ring in 8.30 with only 175bhp. I'd like to think the Scoob will take me round in 7.45 but we'll have to see if I can adapt my driving style.

Last time I was over there I took my mates Spec C out then I did a lap in another mates Classic shaped RA V ltd and it and after driving these cars made me realise I should have one.
There's a good chance my car will be known to the forum if anyone does know anything more about the car I'd be glad to here it.
Spec is as follows cut straight off ebay add so please excuse the laziness.

looks nice but the person who built it was crazy to do that and not use a spec C (or maybe a jdm sti) as the base car, all that work to a wrx is just crazy (fine if you can afford it).
how does it feel to drive compared to the spec C you drove?

It's on newish 888's but I'll be saving them for the Ring, I've got some Porshe cup front slicks lined up to use all round on track days.

I cant really get a feel of it yet as I've only driven it on the road but I'm hoping it will be in a different league to the spec C on track. We all know what an amazing car a spec c is but at the end of the day the set-up is a compromise between a road and track. I haven't looked at the spring rates on my car yet but the set-up feels mostly track orientated.
The front springs feel at least 500lb and pulling on to my drive the indside rear wheel lifts about 6 inch its that stiff.

This looks like a car i was looking at buying off Ebay. I was short of cash at the time but watched the car for a while. Other than that it been a WRX and not an STi was the only thing holding me back.

You are going to love it on the ring mate!

I'm not gonna say what it cost me because if this forums like the 306 forum and I decide to sell it and advertise it for a penny more than I bought it for I'll be the biggest **** in the world, even if what I'm selling for is less than it's worth.
What I will say is the bid I put a bid in the last 3 seconds of the auction was 3K more than I ended up paying for it so I'm dead pleased with my buy.
