Question 300bhp/300ftlb

i like the sound of a 300/300 scooby, are these reasonable figures to get out of a classic wrx with minor mods (3" sportcat and system, sti panel filter, ecu remap) and do those figures go together(do they have to correspond in some way to each other). isnt torques normally less than horses.

Anywhere up to 320hp on an early WRX is a sensible power level that should also give some reliability, if mapped correctly and looked after mechanically.
