im looking for any owners of a 95 wrx v limited. mine has been registered as a 96 and im trying to get it re-registered as 95 but i cant seem to find out what month it was made. what years have urs been classed as ?

 

What is your Vin/Chassis No: ?

I can input this into the Japaneese parts finder & it will give me the month & year of build.

I'm sorry to say that it comes up as Feb 1996.

 

ive got a white n reg wrx vltd mate and it is a 96 the seats and rear badge are to celebrate winning the title in 95 the same a year later the facelifted 97 cars come with the 96 badges they cant put that years winning badge on cos the championship would of been running at the same time as it was being built

ok, thats interesting 28/2/96 is the date i have for the car being first reg/sold in japan. i have an email off subaru stating it was manufactured in 1995. hmmm, i think i may be able to blag the dvla to re-reg it.

Yea, interesting... I had been told that the parts system displayed the build date, but it looks like it displays the registration date instead.

I suspect he want's to have his car MOT without a CAT test being carried out... To do this the car must be regestered before 31st July 1995.
