Paid £5400 a month ago for an 03 with fsh and 52k on the clocks (which was a prety good deal tbh)
100k is fairly high mileage to be fair tho, id personally be inclined to try and get it down a bit...

Things to look for:
Knocks and rattles from engine on cold start and when warm
Any smoke from exhaust under load or on over run
obviious check rounds for leaks, and oil/coolant mixing...
leaky shocks/knocking shocks (esp from rear)
excessively whiney diffs/gearboxes (some whine in normal as it is AWD at the end of the day)

best thing to do is keep a regular eye on what prices are going for on auto trader/piston heads.....before buying mine i pretty much check said websites everyday for a good 6 months prior....

You will get better I had mine up a while ago with 45,000 miles at £5,000 and not one person called! With full History and a few bits exhaust, brake upgrades etc.

Pd £6300 for an 05 plater with 58k on the clock, so would think a 50k 03/04 model would be around 5/5.5?
